“ 10 Stars!!! Mimi was our server and David was our beer guy. Mimi was quick and efficient. David was super knowledgeable about all the different beers in the area, on their tap, and what we would like according to our tastes. Food was excellent! I had their fish and chips. Fish was fried perfectly, crispy on the outside, moist and tender white flesh fish in the center. My wife also loved her Powerbowl salad and my son enjoyed his asian wings. Between the service and the food, I would tell all my friends in Boston to check out this place. ”
“ I was suprised find this tavern packed on a (random) Tuesday night and to be able to get a table, rather quickly, despite not having a reservation; Thanks to Krystal the hostess at the time. The food was delicious for both me and my husband and we were served by both Lucy and Emma, which were both so nice and thoughtful. Ps. If you are on a diet, like me, try their secret salad. ”

“ What a great experience. Went for brunch and was not disappointed. First, the service was absolutely tremendous and a big shout-out to the entire staff for making sure we had an awesome time. Second, the food was on another level. The mimosa flight was perfection and our apple cinnamon donuts and main breakfast meals were perfection. It absolutely tastes as good as it looked. We've added this to our list for the next time we are back up in the city. And it's in a great spot just a quick walk from the Pru. ”

I have to say, the five horses tavern makes me feel like I am riding on a horse on a Mongolian green field, and I stopped at a small encampment for a pleasant ale or mead with my riding buddies. It is fantastic. I couldn't recommend drinking here more. They also had paper towels in the bathroom which is great. ”

“ Great place for some some late night upscale well beyond pub grub fare. It's a nice quiet, darker atmosphere place where you can relax, drink, eat well and chat with your friends. Awesome waitstaff. Started with the Hot Spiced Cider to set the pace. The Fish & Chips were great, the Power Bowl Salad with Shrimp did not disappoint. We had the Micky D's Apple Pie for dessert and it was fantastic. It's well worth your time. ”
